Airline Safety Records Which airline has the best safety record, is it still quantas? I thought it might be cos quanta. its mentioned on zee movie "Rainman" is this still true? Qantas is the safest statistically and Aer Lingus is the second. EI have never lost a passenger aircraft in history. An OM Viscount was killed on the sky at about 1968 over the Irish Sea. But the investigation into the accident was inconclusive, "Viscount St. Phelim Tuskar" into Google for more info.
