Replacement BCF extinguishers? Hello to all: we are replacing the BCF extinguishers in our company because of the legal necessity of getting rid of units of halons. I was wondering what would be the best combination of units to replace them?
In the rest of the place, we foam, powder, CO2 and water extinguishers, but none of them is suited (on its own) for the protection of laboratory - the water is useless for liquids / Electricals foam, not good for polar solvents or Electricals, very messy powder and CO2 not providing post-fire security.
If anyone has advice or experience that could help, I'd be very grateful! Thank you very much for reading.
