Help me find a good name for a business consulting in fire safety? Hi all,
I am starting a business offering advice to individuals and communities interested in preparing their homes / yards / communities to forest fires and mitigation of fire losses by choosing suitable vegetation, renovation / construction of their houses be resistant to fire, etc. I need a company name that is short and easy to remember and available as a domain name. Ideas like fire-resistant firesafety, firesafeyard, firescaping have occurred to me, but they do not say what I'm trying to do, and they are not so catchy. Any thoughts? (If you have an awesome idea, I'd be happy to pay a modest forest firefighter creativity bonus-I am, therefore I can not afford to pay too much!) Thank you. . .
"Firewise" - Innovative Solutions in Fire
or
"The fire safety solutions" FSS?
Just some ideas. Clearly, it should check and make sure no one else has that name registered in your state.
If you like, use it. Good luck with your new business!

Some things to consider when choosing your name: -
Are you from the company, with intent to sell the company on track? It may be easier to sell a generic company appointed as your own name.
You told us what your company intends to do in its first year, but my experience with business, that they start to do and what they end up doing may be totally different things, because the opportunity arises. Do not limit your business in your business name.
If you have a passion or a source of inspiration for use elsewhere. Explain why you chose your name can attract people to your business and your enthusiasm. DR evil cat, chinchilla Fluffy, the Tabby Cat, Nine Lives, as are all the more big names for someone who likes cats.
Make sure it is easy to spell, and pronounce. If anyone hears on the radio, they can name Google, and you find?
In fact, if you choose a name ~ ~ Google is what happens, is it already in existence somewhere in the world. If you Google my name to the entry of other firms that arises is one entry in the Netherlands.
What are your competitors called? Make a list of all your competitors ... do you want to sound like them or do you want them to be distinguished?
Here in Australia, started a company called VIR.
