Electric Blanket Safety

Electric Blanket SafetyHow warm is an electric blanket?

I have a foot injury that still feels chilled unless I keep it in really hot conditions. I had the heat up high, but now I can not do that because I have a roommate. Attraction on tons of blankets is very uncomfortable for him and the job does not work very well anyway because it does not generate enough heat.

Anyway, how hot is an electric blanket? Could you do like having the heat up to 85 F? And security is a problem?

I've always had electric blankets and they are safer than ever. There are many guards and if you use your electric blanket according to the manufacturer's instructions, it will not be a problem. Most electric blankets are 8-10 heat settings. The higher the number, the higher the heat. You can easily have the 85F temperature. That's what I'm more at ease (I'm from Florida) so I'm sure that the blanket will get that hot. Even I use all winter because I can not bear to be cold.

it makes your bed warm, but when you arrive in
you shut the cover, unless you want to be electrocuted

Why not buy a heating pad?
