I recently had a home inspection of a property that I was interested in purchasing. On the vendor declaration form contained a basement fire, but after inspection, we determine that the whole house at one time was on fire. damaged by fire (from top to bottom).
The seller claims that the damage to his property earlier in 2000 and repaired by the previous owner. Before we find it, my offer price on a 3-unit multi-family home has been accepted to 120,000. However, since the house was on fire and repaired my bid price must change.
