Fire Safety Equipment

Fire Safety EquipmentI live in a student house for rent with 3 other students. According to the law that the fire safety equipment should be provided?

I do not think the rented house I live in a student meets the requirement set by law and government policies regarding fire safety. Please could someone point me in the correct direction of policy or law, or if I watch you know what fire safety equipment should be provided?

As you did not say where you are, nobody will be able to answer your question.

The laws are not universal - they vary from one place to another!

There could have national laws, provincial or local governing such things in certain places. Not here, as far as I know.

you should have somewhere a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in kitchen.

You might be surprised to hear that, but the law is not identical in all countries in the world. What fire codes in the United Kingdom is different from what they need in Somalia is different from what they need in the United States.

Since you do not tell us which country you live, any answer would be a proposal of 100%.

(And in many countries, the law varies by state or province if it is a federal country, fire codes may also be established on a city or county level in many places.)

So, since you did not say where you are, sorry, can not help you.
