First Alert Night Light

First Alert Night LightLeopard geckos home the first night?

OK we had our LEOP. gecko. he lives in my son room basement. I put a light timer for 7:00 to 7:00 p.m.. we live in Iowa and I wonder if he'll get cold at night the heat in our house is set at 68, the reservoir is built into the wall flush, the tank itself is in the wash boiler /. Does it need light at night? reading, they say if it was 70 bit mid-60s? He is alert and eating crickets, since we brought him home. mostly lying in the cabin since investigation tank.

You should have a heat lamp and a heating pad. The lamp and heat pad should be at the same end of the tank. The heat lamp should be for 12 hours of the day. The heating pad should always be left on.

PS Do not use a heat rock. They have been known to burn the lizards!

If I were you I buy a heat rock for its small cage, they love them and they only cost around 10.00

Yo, homegirl ... He will need a heat rock, yo!

my brother used to have a gecko Lepard in his bedroom basement. it might need one of those heating pads. it worked for my brother.

Get a heat lamp that is red or "invisible". The reptile may not detect red light in the bulb. If it should enter the low 70's instead of the bulb is not derectly on top of a cage make sure it is a very small bulb.
Hope this helps
