Flycamone V2

Flycamone V2When you use a video camera attached to my electric rc heli, there is a ripple effect on the video.?

I think it is because the magnetic field generated buy the engine or electrical interference.
Can I protect the device in any way, without adding too much weight?
It is a FlyCamOne V2 camera.

How about using some of the foil shield that is used in the cavities of control on electric guitars?

You should be able to get one from a music store and it should be pretty cheap.

A couple of layers that would do the trick and I think the weight would not even be a problem.

Hello,

Sorry this is not an answer, just an interesting (to me, anyway) little extra info.

On my local buses, I often see ripples in the band fluroscent lights moving in time with the engine. Perhaps there is a kind of resonance that affects the neon in the tube.
