+ I have a garage door opener safety. This is one of the keyboard. How do I change the combination? I can not find the manual anywhere.
Someone has an idea?
Your key code is stored in the automation of the door. To remove it, you must locate the programming button on the rear of the engine. Press and hold the button down for about ten seconds. If you make it a little LED light next to the button and turns off when the erasure is complete. When this is done any commands should work, except for the wall button. To reprogram the transmitters press and release the program button. Immediately press and hold the button on the transmitter. Your bulb (s) on the engine will blink on and off. Repeat with the other transmitter (s). For the keyboard press and release the programming button and enter the new four digit code to the keypad and press ENTER. The lights should flash on and off again. Whenever you something about the program you have. 30 seconds to do. With the transmitters, you can have them on the ladder, but you might need help with the keyboard. If you're putting a new battery in the keyboard. You could just program the new key code in your old number, but still work. Google Chamberlain Group. On the factory site that you can download the manual offers free using the number vmodel. These instructions are all there. Good luck!
Usually thats done from the control panel on the engine of small doors. There should be a button that says that the program or something like that. It must be in learning mode (but if you do not have a manual that can be difficult to find) Then you press the remote control and store them on the engine panel.
Acually I just thought. Get the model # of the engine and jump on google (or yahoo:)) and see if there is no manual you can view and download. This would be the best option.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
