Gas Detection Tubes RAE Systems' advances MeshGuard detection system proved gas SAN JOSE, CA - (Marketwire - January 26, 2010) - RAE Systems Inc. (NYSE AMEX: EAR) today introduced several improvements to the MeshGuard field-proven smart, connected, gas detection system. MeshGuard has managed to provide fast and flexible network security for intelligent detection of hazardous gases in stationary applications. (See press release presenting the new deployments MeshGuard methane gas extraction and production of steel.) The family MeshGuard intelligent wireless connected sensors toxic and flammable gas is easy to carry, easy to deploy and easy to use in environments where the rapid deployment means faster income. Gas detection MeshGuard and surveillance systems are designed for difficult and potentially dangerous industrial sites, where traditional fixed heads gas detection was used in the past, but time-sensitive operational needs. It is an ideal solution for oil refineries, chemical plants, oil and gas drilling and exploration activities, storage facilities, shipyards, terminals, storage hot liquids and process mills. "The evidence on the ground, easy to use, MeshGuard provides faster deployment and time of resettlement, and provides the signal and reliable wireless sensor performance," said Bill Jackson, vice president of global marketing RAE Systems . "The gas detection system promotes MeshGuard RAE Systems' history of innovative solutions and related security and continues our tradition of providing time-sensitive information and life-critical security officials and operators of industrial facilities in a system that is less expensive to deploy and maintain. " Systems MeshGuard MeshGuard wireless systems are available as system components or for custom applications or as a pre-configured Rapid Deployment Kit (RDK) includes everything needed to implement the system and be operational quickly. MeshGuard key system components include: - FMC 2000 wireless controller The FMC 2000 is the system command and control element, supporting up to 24 sensors MeshGuard. Its integrated wireless modem communicates with each network element MeshGuard. In 2000, FMC collects data and monitors all alarms. Housed in a rugged stainless steel, it is easy to install and easy to configure and control. It has five programmable relay outputs, an Ethernet port, RS-485, internal storage on a map Datalog industry standard Secure Digital memory, and integrated audible and visible. For larger deployments, more than 2,000 FMC can be grouped. - MeshGuard Routers MeshGuard The router is used to extend the coverage area of the network to transmit network data signals around obstacles. - Monitor MeshGuard Monitors MeshGuard wireless battery for deployment on the ground quickly. Each monitor can operate up to six months on the battery depending on the specific sensor. The monitors are designed for easy maintenance. Currently available MeshGuard monitors can detect carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), lower explosive limit, flammability (LEL) and sulfur dioxide (SO2). - Accessories MeshGuard Available accessories include FA-200 Alarm Bar and extended battery performance RAE Power Pak. MeshGuard kit for rapid deployment (RDK) The Rapid Deployment Portable MeshGuard Kit (RDK) is a pre-configured, ready to deploy the system: The MeshGuard RDK is designed for deployment on the ground where the fixed gas detection is needed to begin operations. It includes all the system components needed to rapidly deploy a perimeter gas detection, including: - FMC 2000 wireless controller Posted on June 13, 2010.
