Home Protection Do snakes make good protection for the house? I was wondering if snakes would aggressively for the protection of good home while you're away from your house? to the person who said the black mamba is not aggressive, I ask you please go back and do your homework. I know this is not a serious issue, but at the same time If you lose your time with an answer at least make it correct. the black mamba snake is very territorial. it has to be documented to attack animals much greater to include humans if they come into his domain. This animal is probably the only actual execution of the rule of most snakes want to save there venom food. and answer this question .... its illegal in the U.S. for us a venomous snake permit cheap and waiting area. and if you leave it free to "guard" your house, I do not think you have to worry about burglars for long ... or something else if you're not careful ... No, they are not aggressive. A snake prefers to hide under a sofa than risk injury. They will not defend territory and only bite if they feel that someone will walk on. p Mike you are wrong and should not give information about things you know nothing. In some states you can keep venomous snakes permits and some states you do not even need a permit. I hope this question is a joke, not many people would be dumb enough to think it would work, like the other person says the snake is rather hide. the snake bites you the same thing that would bite someone else's wrong you know your snake will get put to sleep, and yes you into trouble .. its illegal to keep poisonous snakes, unless you're a zoo or a sanctuary. my gf is the faculty of law .. the snake put to sleep and you will be responsible for keeping snakes .. illegal they hide and bask .. thats it ... they wont know whos a friend or an enemy .. the attitude they have confidence person .. but they arent like dogs .. but mostly .. they hunted and slither through .. they find cracks and you would be - a snake this is not something I recommend doing so. and if you do not get it. do not let it loose in your house. this could be your downfall No, they would not because they are just as likely to bite you a burgular. Are you crazy? How could you return to your home? Noooo! no ... just not. Posted on July 28, 2010.
