Imei Lock

Imei LockHow do I use an IMEI lock a phone?

my mobile phone Sony Ericsson J210i () has been stolen by a stranger, now I want to make pnone useless. How do I use the IMEI number to reach this goal?

Go to www.menduk.org and save the phone and the IMEI number.

It is the national database of mobile phones in the United Kingdom. Then, using the site, you can report it stolen and will make the handset unusable immediately. I also recommend calling the police because they are coming down hard on mobile phone thieves in my area, perhaps others as well.

you'll need to call the company you get the phone from Vodafone to say, virgin, O2 ... and they should be able to lock it for you, you may need the IMEI number, they should do so immediately, but do not leave too late

To provide the IMEI number to your network operator, and they should be able to make the "phone unoperable.

this can be done with access to the HLR which is part of the network. Inform the service provider and they should blacklist the IMEI number to block telephone use.

Calll your service provider, they know how to lock the phone to be used on their network.

if u have the information with u on the customer service phone call and tell them u want to lock the phone and it was stolen.

or do like I did, if u still want all ur information ur phone stolen they lock the phone stolen and wait u get a SIM and the new phone and transfer the information to your new phone.

u now would not give people another #
