Jvc CameraHow to transfer movies from my JVC camera iMovie?

Help friends Imac. I have a JVC camera. I have FireWire. I put the nail in place. It should be easy, but it is not. So what do I do to transfer a new movie. I put the nail in place. But wonder why the iMac is not regonizing my camera JVC. HELP!

It is very easy to get your video camera to your MacBook, iMovie automatically detects when you have a FireWire camcorder connected.Perhaps You can follow this step by step:
1.Plug camcorder to your Mac computer with cable (USB / Wifi)
2.Select mode as the camcorder mode PC /
3.iMovie window will automatically import
4.The DVD automatically open. just quit DVD Player first
5.Now, you can view your video or select "Import All" (make sure your switch is set to "automatic")
6.Si you select "Manual", you can import clips into iMovie
7.Si you import from the tape device based (DV / HDV), iMovie automatic tape and review all imports
8.iMovie automatic create video after import snapshot
