Is sailing Lasershield better than any other laser jammer? I'm considering buying either the web or Blinder Xtreme M25, but i cannot decide. Please help me people.
First, get a few things straight:
1. Veil is a product that you paint on your license plate and other parts of your vehicle to disperse a laser beam as it hits your plate or vehicle. The hope is that this will disable the ability of the laser gun to measure your speed.
2. Blinder M25 Xtreme laser jammer is. A laser jammer detects and jams incoming laser speed reading laser, which allows you time to check your speed before turning off the jammer.
3. Like radar detectors, laser jammers are legal to use in most states.
4. Unlike radar detectors and jammers, laser jammers are illegal to use radar anywhere in the United States. See my sources for a list of radar and laser to the laws of your state and / or country. The previous poster may have radar detectors, laser jammers radar jammers confused. They are three very different devices.
5. Veil is a waste of money because it fails to stop the laser near 100% of the time.
6. Laser jammers work extremely well to laser guns police interference, and annual testing of the measurement speed and 1stRadarDetectors.com Labs has proven time and again.
Thus, to help your decision:
Sailing costs around $ 100. But Veil is discontinued by the manufacturer. Why? Because, like the previous poster notes, Veil does not work and is a waste of money. You will probably find some of the remaining boxes of Veil sitting on a shelf of a store somewhere, but do not be one of the last crazy to buy Veil! You'll end up with sticky dirt on your vehicle, plus a speeding when the sticky dirt can not effectively disperse a laser beam.
A laser jammer starts at about $ 400. Unlike radar jammers, laser jammers are legal in most states. Laser jammers are very effective at jamming laser guns to police. Visit http://www.1stradardetectors.com/Laser-J ... to see a video of the Blinder M25 laser jammer in action.
The Blinder M25 Xtreme is not for the back or front of your vehicle. If you prefer for your protection before and behind your vehicle, you want the Blinder Xtreme M45, which provides laser jamming modules for front and rear of your vehicle. If you want to detect radar and laser jamming in one package, you can consider the Escort Passport 9500ci, which includes top escort radar detector and range of their new Laser Jammer ZR4, integrated in a sealed system.
Ultimately, you should talk to a professional protection that fits your vehicle and place. I invite 1stRadarDetectors.com and tell them about your situation. They can give you free advice on whether a laser jammer is good for you, and that it fits your vehicle and place the better. Good luck!
Not really important - not really work. Car and Driver magazine did a comprehensive test on all radar and laser jammers and found all to be worthless - which is why nobody bothers to prosecute those responsible as a jamming device is strictly illegal.
