Lock Of Hair Keepsake

Ok I did not quite the thing of love before the letter and you always see in old novels like Jane Austen and other things people will do strands of hair in memory of their loved ones and I do know if these days that is still OK or if it seems too weird. Any thoughts?

Personally, I think it is weird, but you probably know that your loved one thinks about it.
