Motion Detection Lights

Motion Detection LightsIs it possible to install flood / motion detection lights on a house phone?

The other side of my mobile home is very dark, and I had trouble with undesirable people coming into my yard. I live alone, I would like to do different things to take precautions.

Yes you can, but you'll need an electrician or someone who knows how to operate and son make connections to work.

I lived in a few years ago double-wide and has an electrical outlet under the trailer. I'm connected to cable 14-2 and ran to and through the under-skirt. Then I used plastic piping to protect the wire to rotate to the outside of the trailer and I have all connected.

My motion detector was still working when I sold the place six years later, I guess it still works.

Yes, they sell at Lowes and they are very simple to install.

Yes you can, they can be installed on any type of home. As long as they are made by someone who knows what they are doing! Check with your local power company, as they may be able to set up a dust to dawn (street) light for you if your willing to pay a monthly subscription (My mother-in-law does ) But it would not be an option if there is no power pole near the dark area!

Apparently you do not have all the lights at all in this area now so that means there is probably no wiring. You'll need to hire an electrician to run your wiring so you might as well have set up your lights too, so it is his. If you have a porch light that could be exchanged regularly cons of projectors that would probably be much cheaper and you can do yourself. They could be aimed wherever you need it.

I do not have much money so I installed my own bright light. I simply drilled a hole in my house with a 12 "3 / 8" bit. I ran the wire through the hole. I bought a fifty foot long wire of the same width as a short extension. I put a cap on the end of the wire and plugged into an AC outlet. I also put a switch on the wire line. It does not look pretty, but it does the job. Also, I live in an old house that I will repeat any time soon. When I remodel, I'll run a regular wire and light switch. I leave the lights on all night, and I love it. I just bought CFL lights. They were on sale for $ 5 each. They are 16 watts, but they get much brighter than my old 75 watt flood lights. The CFL take a few minutes to warm up. They are sort of the Sun for a couple of minutes, then they become very bright.
