Best safety equipment for entry-level motorcycle up the street? Please could you advise me on some of the best entry level street clothes with links, or names of the craft. In safety equipment I mean, helmet, gloves, boots, leather (clothing, pants separate and above). I get a Ninja 250 if it makes a difference.
Thank you
I do not know what you mean by entry level. "Novice riders need more protection than experienced riders, no less, no?
Your best bet is to try it in a store that has a great selection. good fit and comfort are essential. If this is uncomfortable, he will live in your wardrobe when you are riding, which gives you no protection. comfort reduces fatigue - an important safety consideration.
Some general guidelines: helmet, leather boots that extend to the ankles, gloves with padding, or love; jacket with armor in elbows, shoulders and spine. Leather is the best, but very warm. A quality textile jacket will protect a bit less, but you wear on hot days; pants at the hip, knee and shin protection. With all the equipment, avoid black: too hot, and no visibility.
Useless items: fingerless gloves, chaps, half (or "Shorty") helmets. For all of these elements, ask yourself: "What part of me that I do want to protect?
Get a helmet full face, the more comfortable you can find.
For gloves, get one with leather upholstery. Teknic gloves is good for the price.
To find the boots that are made of the bike with the protection of ankle.
For the street, you do not want a bite suit once, get leather pants that fit well, or even riding pants are like jeans, but Kevles armed and have padding. Buy either a leather jacket or a jacket textile quality. Make sure it has padding in the elbows, back and shoulders to a minimum.
