What is the difference between the pilot and two syringes ms16a ms26? There is a big difference and that is the delivery time. Fatal errors were made when the nurses have mistakenly used the MS16A and delivered dose in one hour that should be infused over 24 hours using the MS26.

Both can be set for IV or SC in mm / hr.
The MS16A has a range of infusion of 30 min. - 60 hours. with a speed range of 0-99mm/hr. This driver infused syringe contents over an hour.
The MS26 has a range of infusion of 12 hours - 60 days, a speed range and a bolus of 0-99mm/day 0.23mm travel. This driver infused contents of the syringe over 24 hours.
