New Video Cameras

Looking for a store where they sell used or new professional video cameras. I live like 30 minutes. away from Los Angeles, CA. or if there is a shop that sells them cheap, it would be ok too.
Someone knows where they sell cheap? but they are always good to make movies?
Also a good program to edit the movies I do? which one is right? I do not want Windows Movie Maker. I want something more professional.

Honestly. It seems you know very little about what you really want to do, make a short trip, you'll have a better idea, expert advice and know better where to spend your money.

Currently the shop staff will rub their hands and sell you stuff you do not know that you do not need.

Wow, you're lucky. Just the other day I heard of a camera store called Sammy. They sell everything you need. Video camera, software and more!
