Night Vision Camera

Night Vision CameraIf I put the lights on an infrared camera that works like a regular camera night vision?

Me and my friend are about to attempt a ghost hunt so we need to find a camera for night vision, but they are so crazy expensive. I wondered if I could buy infrared lamps and if they would work like a regular camera night vision camera.

And there is no such thing as ghosts.

No. In almost every digital camera is a filter that blocks infrared light. It is normally called a mirror "hot".

There are companies that can show you how to remove, or retire for you. The instructions are free, they charge to do it for you. If you are not fully qualified to repair the camera, it's worth $ 200 or so it costs to make them for you. You can have them replace the hot mirror with a clear filter or UV filter. The clear filter gives you the sensitivity to UV as well.

Once the filter is disabled, the unit operates more like a video camera with night shot ... IR lights you will see in the dark.

Take a look around this site ... http://www.lifepixel.com and see what interests you. This will be a much cheaper alternative to those of night vision cameras capable.
