Pir CameraMaking the right choice when searching for the CCTV surveillance camera

There are normally six things to consider before Selecting a CCTV security system ;

1. Camera Selection
2. Registration Options
3. Detection
4. The date and time
5. Cable and connectors
6. Camera Protection

1.0 Camera Selection
1.1 Location

Does the camera is located inside or outside? If outside, then you must make sure it is appropriate to the environmental conditions that are likely to be encountered such as rain, snow, sun glare, low light, etc. outside of video surveillance systems security camera Outdoor cameras should be classified as either weatherproof or installed in a special box for protection. All CCTV cameras supplied by external Voltek are resistant to weather and cable entry points are sealed. The son of a length sufficient to allow connections to be made inside the building.
1.2 Level of light

Choosing the right camera based on the amount of light available is very important for an effective security system. A regular color or monochrome cameras will not give very good pictures in low light conditions while the monochrome is more effective than a single color equivalent. Solutions available for low light conditions may include:

* B & W cameras with built in IR illumination
* Color Day / Night cameras
* The use of additional security lighting
* The use of a separate IR illuminator in combination with a monochrome camera. When using infrared lighting to ensure that the range of illuminators is sufficient for your needs.

Lighting levels are generally measured in lux, and although the light may be about 10,000 lux, dark can be as low as 1-10 lux in total darkness is 0 lux lighting side streets may also be less than 1 lux, in some cases. More than one unit is assessed at 0 lux, the better its performance in low light.
1.3 Color, black and white or Day / Night Cameras

B & W cameras generally offer better image quality than the color of light at lower levels. They are also generally less expensive than equivalent color specifications. Color cameras require the availability of good lighting and generally provides better recognition ability. Day night cameras to provide the best of both worlds in an external environment. They function as color cameras during the day (or in good light conditions) and automatically to B & W when the fall of light levels. All day night Voltek cameras come with built-in infrared illuminators that allow the cameras to see in the dark.

1.4 with or without thread

Wireless CCTV cameras are easier to install. There is no wiring to run from the camera to the receiver and they are ideal for temporary applications, rapid deployment or when the cable running is not desirable. TheDay night wireless security camera CCTV cameras do not require a power source, however, and while most will be able to be powered by batteries do not last very long life - a matter of hours in cases. Wherever possible, the cameras must be powered by the network. Typical range for wireless camera systems is 100 meters in free space, but which can significantly reduce about 20 meters in a typical home. In some cases, there is also the risk of interference when using wireless systems.
