Polarized Safety Glasses

Polarized Safety GlassesThe red-green polarized lenses for television, (3-D), this weekend, NBC?

I know that the glasses for free (for 3-D display) are in red and green. What I do not know if their is so polarized. I need to make a pair and will start with a pair of safety glasses and some clear liquid markers of good color. I fear that this may be in vain if the lenses must be properly biased first. I searched the web and can not find the specific requirements related to the 3-D glasses needed to successfully create the 3-D effect on those specific emissions-(superbowl and Chuck).
