Radon Detection

Radon DetectionDo radon detection kits to detect specific home radon or radioactive material just in general?

I live very close to a nuclear waste dump and my rate of radon are off the charts.

Radon is a decay product of uranium and is usually found in soil and water and basements as it percolates through the soil.

A radon test kit is a reservoir of activated carbon which has a large surface which can adsorb particles from the air.

radon test kits Radon does pick up, they adsorb the products of disintegration of solid (daughter radionuclides) that form when radon decays.

If, indeed, you have very high scores on a radon detection kit at home, and you think it may be related to nuclear waste, you need to contact a firm and professional radon mitigation equivalent your state EPA, and NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission).
