Safety Reading Glasses

Safety Reading GlassesUnder the law of the United Kingdom health and safety, should my employer pay or to contribute to the cost of my reading glasses?

I need glasses for the purpose of working with the computer, driving and watching television as well.I wonder if my employer must pay for it or not?!

Thank you very much!

If you use a computer for work you may be eligible for payment from your employer for eye exams every 2 years and help with the cost of glasses. The department does not know about other companies.

Pshhh No, your view is your own problem.

I do not think so.

My faith and then what.

nope

My last company did because it relates to the use of computer screen

Read this, it is a legal requirement for employers to pay for eye test and glasses if they are used to watch on screen at work

My employer paid for me to have an eye test (for computer work) and paid to a party lenses (not frames), because the optician decided that I need them to work.
