Safewatch

I ADT Safewatch prd 3000 and my battery light on. How to replace the battery. I took the panel off and didn't see the battery. I no longer just ADT panel and the panel keeps beeping stop. I'm frustrated.

I just went to that and yes it is very annoying. Your backup battery dies, your system notifies you. ADT wanted to charge me several hundred dollars to go out and service, but I was able to just get a new battery and turn myself.

The battery backup is in the metal access panel / box. The mine was located in my garage and needed a key to open it. ADT often leaves you a copy of the key on the top of the box. Otherwise you will have to raise the open or pick the lock. Inside the box, usually sitting on the bottom, you will find the backup battery. This is what you need to replace.
