You can also see if one of copmanies alarm offers free security patrol for the first year with the installation. It is a very good service if offered. You might also check if your service is monitored. Most of them are followed by the company and they call you before sending the police. This service if you choose to save money because departments youo most police do not offer 3 or 4 alarms flaser in a year then they start getting paid by alarm.Hopefully this answers your question.
