Used Fire Equipment

Used Fire EquipmentWhat equipment to fight against the fire can be used on electrical fires?

Describe me in some detail the fight against the fire may be used.

For small fires, dry chemical or CO2 (no, that is used for combustible metal fires) fire extinguishers will not work unless the equipment is still energized. This will make the equipment useless due to the corrosive nature of dry chemical and moisture in CO2. Most businesses use a system to full saturation of halons, but halon is being phased out.

Normally, when we fight against the fires, we always turn off the equipment, then extinguish with water. It is much safer. Otherwise, firefighters do not mess with electricity. We ask the power company shut off power, then get to work.

Powder CO2

dry powder, sand, Co2

CO2 (carbon dioxide) extinguishers are generally recommended for electrical fires.

powder is recommended CO2 or powder will make a shit and all the electronics guy so I would use the CO2.
